  • Well-equipped lecture rooms set up for engaging teaching
  • Communal spaces that encourage conversation and fellowship
  • Accommodation for single students as well as families

The campus atmosphere reflects the College’s commitment to holistic formation: academic, spiritual, and relational. It is a place where students are not only trained in theology but are shaped for lives of service.

The Broughton Knox Study Centre

In many respects, the library is at the heart of GWC. With over 60, 000 books and a host of e-books and online journals, GWC’s library houses a precious collection of resources across the subjects of theology, biblical studies, history, philosophy, missiology and more.

The library is a vital part of the life of every student, and offers the ideal environment for both individual study and scholarly exploration, with knowledgeable staff available for assistance and guidance.

Our collection includes:

  • Extensive biblical commentaries and theological works
  • Journals and digital resources to support ongoing research
  • Carefully curated materials aligned with course requirements

As GWC works to increasingly serve as a hub for scholarly engagement and an incubator for African thought leadership, the library is growing its contextually representative book collection as we invest in a community of Christian academics who can bring Africa’s voice to the global theological landscape.

A library whose librarian and staff aren’t accessible is merely a storehouse of knowledge that few can utilise well. The myriad of resources—both in our GWC library and online databases—can be overwhelming, so I’m especially grateful for the times Colin (Chief Librarian) has come to my rescue with one-on-one crash courses in gathering academic resources, from Boolean operators to truncation to nesting and more. I’m also thankful for our Library Administrator Rosemary’s constant willingness to help me track down elusive resources in a sea of books, and for Ledovrica (Library Assistant), who always checks in, not only my academic progress, but also on how my family is faring amid the highs and lows of my postgraduate studies.
